What It is
A certified legal translation is a translation — usually into Arabic — produced by a translator licensed by the UAE Ministry of Justice, carrying the translator’s stamp so that courts, notaries and authorities will accept the document.
What it is not
It is not an ordinary or machine translation, and a certified translation does not itself notarise or legalise the underlying document.
Where it is used
It is required when a document in another language must be submitted to a UAE authority, notary or court, including many powers of attorney and their supporting certificates.
