Form B

Form B is the broker agreement used when a buyer appoints a broker to search for or secure a property on the buyer’s behalf.

What It Is

It is the buyer-side counterpart in the RERA smart-contract family. Form B frames the broker relationship from the purchaser side, including the buyer’s brief, commission arrangement, and the broker’s role in progressing the acquisition search.

What It Is Not

It is not the sale contract between the buyer and the seller, and it is not a title or ownership document.

When It Is Used

Use this term when discussing buyer representation, buyer-broker authority, commission arrangements, or the early acquisition phase before a sale is agreed.

Where You’ll See It

You will see it in broker onboarding, Dubai REST contract creation, buyer-side negotiations, and search mandates.

Process Context

Form B belongs to the buyer-instruction stage. It appears before an agreed sale exists and before the parties move to Form F, SPA, or the transfer sequence.

Jurisdiction Note

Form B is part of Dubai’s RERA form family. It should not be projected automatically onto other emirates’ brokerage frameworks.
