Rental Disputes Centre (RDC)

The Rental Disputes Centre is Dubai’s specialised judicial forum for rental disputes and related conciliation or enforcement procedures.

What It Is

It is the institutional route used when landlord-tenant issues move beyond ordinary negotiation. The RDC handles claims, hearings, orders, execution, and other dispute processes tied to the tenancy ecosystem.

What It Is Not

It is not just a customer-service complaint channel, and it is not the same thing as RERA itself. It is the dispute-resolution body for rental matters.

When It Is Used

Use this term when discussing eviction cases, rent disputes, deposit disagreements, renewal conflicts, or enforcement of rental decisions.

Where You’ll See It

You will see it in tenancy-dispute guidance, eviction notice discussions, evidence checklists, and online case-tracking workflows.

Process Context

The RDC sits after a rental issue has moved beyond ordinary negotiation. It is part of the dispute, order, execution, and enforcement stage of the tenancy ecosystem.

Jurisdiction Note

The RDC is a Dubai institution. Equivalent rental-dispute forums in other emirates use different structures and labels.
