Property Transfer is the legal and registration process of moving ownership of a property from one party to another.
What It Is
In the UAE property context, this term covers the end-to-end act of changing the registered owner of a completed property. It sits above the individual steps such as contract signing, NOC collection, mortgage settlement, trustee appointment, and DLD or authority registration.
What It Is Not
It is not just the signing of a contract, and it is not the same thing as conveyancing support. The transfer is the outcome; conveyancing is the coordinated process that gets the parties there.
Where It Sits In Process
This is the registration outcome stage of a transaction. It usually comes after the parties have agreed terms, cleared any required NOC or mortgage steps, arranged payment instruments, and appeared through the appropriate authority or trustee channel.
