An Electronic Title Deed is the digital version of a property’s ownership record, issued and verifiable through the Dubai Land Department’s electronic systems.
What It Is
The E-Title Deed is the digital ownership instrument generated and held in DLD’s systems and accessible through channels such as the Dubai REST app. It carries the same ownership information as the paper title deed property identification and registered owner in a verifiable electronic form.
What It Is Not
It is not a different or lesser form of ownership than the paper title deed, and it is not a sale contract or off-plan registration. It is the same registered ownership record in electronic form; it does not, by itself, change who owns the property.
Where It Sits In Process
The E-Title Deed sits at and after registration: once an ownership act completes, the electronic record is available digitally for verification, sharing, and downstream steps (sale, mortgage, gift, inheritance, or ownership confirmation) without needing a paper copy.
Dubai issues deeds electronically now; you retrieve or reissue the electronic title deed through the registry desk.
